Bell Schedule

The parking lot is closed to all vehicles, except buses, district personnel, and visitors between the hours of 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

The drop-off and pick-up of students will take place in the parking lot. All drivers are to remain in their vehicle when dropping off and picking up students. Our staff will help students exit and enter the vehicle as needed.

The students and parents are expected to use the crosswalk in front of the office. At Merlinda, the safety of the students comes first.  The district vehicles, buses, and cars will be stopped in the parking lot until all students safely cross the parking lot.

Double parking on Valinda Avenue or surrounding streets is forbidden by the Vehicle Code and citations will be issued by the West Covina Police Department. The police will also monitor the parking lot periodically and will issue citations to violators.
