1. New students to WCUSD will need to complete the WCUSD Intra-District Permit Application form during the online enrollment process. Returning students to WCUSD will need to request an Intra-District Permit form from their school of residence.  
2. The site administrator from the school of residence will schedule a meeting to discuss circumstances related to the request.
   Exception: If the older sibling(s) already attends a WCUSD school outside of their residence attendance area, the parent/guardian can skip this step
3. The school of residence will submit the completed WCUSD Intra-District Permit Application form to the Office of Student Services for approval or denial by the Director of Student Services.

1. The parent/guardian must complete the Intra-District Permit Application form and submit to front office staff of the current school of enrollment.
2. Front office staff will forward the application to the Office of Student Services for approval or denial by the Director of Student Services.

1. The application, with releasing district’s approval, must be submitted by the parent/guardian to the Office of Student Services for approval or denial by the Director of Student Services. 

2. The following records must also be included with the application for review:

• Academic
• Attendance
• Discipline records
• IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)

Annual renewal is not required by WCUSD.  However, some districts may require annual renewal, if so, the parent/guardian submit the application to the Office of Student Services for approval or denial by the Director.

1. Obtain the WCUSD Inter-District Permit Application form at the school of residence and complete all sections.

2. Meet with a site administrator from the school of residence to discuss circumstances related to the request.

3. Submit the completed WCUSD Inter-District Permit application with the site administrator’s signature from the school of residence to the Office of Student Services for approval or denial by the Director.

4. Please note the following:

• A permit authorizing a student’s attendance in a school/district outside of the WCUSD will only be considered and approved pursuant to the criteria listed in WCUSD Administrative Regulation 5117 and must also be approved by the receiving school/district. 
• Transportation to and from a student’s residence within the WCUSD and the receiving school/district will not be provided. 

1. Obtain an “Allen Bill Information Form” from the school of choice or the Office of Student Services
2. Complete and submit the “Allen Bill Information Form” to the Office of Student Services along with proof of employment (e.g. recent pay stub with employer’s information).
